Mohon before was a sitio that belonged to Sta. Cruz, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental. It is called, “Mohon”, meaning a boundary between Sta. Cruz and Sta. Ana.
Mohon is located 2.5 kilometers away from crossing national highway PHIVIDEC. As of December 2015, has total population of 4,446 based on actual survey conducted by the Barangay Integrated Volunteers.
Mohon as Fourteen (14) establishments/companies operating their business with their common products: Dressed chickens, hollow blocks, sand and gravels, plywood/plyboard, feeds, soft drinks, medicine, LPG industrial gases and a lot more.
